Case details
Scott Clabourne was sentenced to death on January 24, 1983.
Clabourne met Laura Webster at the Green Dolphin Bar in Tucson. Webster was a University of Arizona student and was with friends at the bar on the evening of September 18, 1980. She agreed to leave with Scott Clabourne and Larry Langston.
Clabourne and Langston then took Webster to the house of a friend of Langston. Webster was repeatedly raped and sodomized. She was strangled and stabbed in the heart three times. Her body was dumped in an arroyo, where it was found the next morning.
