Kenneth Friedman was sentenced to die for the 1994 strangulation slayings of two Redondo Beach men: Peter Kovach, 26, and Ted Gould, 29. Peter Kovach had been a one-time drug dealer. Friedman abducted both men from a Torrance telecommunications store where they worked, and then strangled them.

Sentencing

On December 2, 2005, Kenneth Friedman was sentenced to death.

At sentencing, Friedman told the judge that he would not fear death and would “embrace it.”
