Wilson Henry Boyd was executed at the Nevada State Prison on May 28, 1940 for the crime of murder. Boyd was convicted of murdering Floyd and Georgianna Robinson. The killing followed a disagreement between Boyd and Floyd Robinson.

The crime took place in Elko in eastern Nevada on February 24, 1940.

Boyd claimed he had been drinking for a couple of days. He also claimed the killing was committed in self-defense.

Boyd said he shot Georgianna Robinson because she had grabbed a butcher knife after he had shot her husband.

Boyd was convicted on March 14, 1940.
