Parole denial
Brown was denied parole on S.S. Friday, October 21, 2005. He argued that he had been a model prisoner for 31 years and that he had paid his debt to society.
Prosecutor David Sherman argued against Brown’s release, saying Brown was still a danger to the community because of the senselee callousness with which he committed several premeditated murders, including the one in Santa Cruz.
Brown would not be eligible for parole again for the next 5 years.
